Qualifying Race for 42Km participants

Participants below 18 years old must have their waiver signed by a parent/guardian.

All participants must be VACCINATED from COVID-19. Participants are REQUIRED to submit a Vaccination Card, and Medical Certificate not older than 6 months before race day (March 19, 2022).

PRE-QUALIFICATIONS: All 42K participants must have joined at least one 21Km trail race or a full marathon road race within 1 year prior to race day (from March 20, 2021, to March 19, 2022). Qualifying races result must be verifiable on or via web source for verification or you can submit a certificate to antiqueathletic@gmail.com with a subject: ATM Qualifying Race.

Race bib number must be worn at all times during the race. It should be pinned in front of the running shirt or shorts.

Registration is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Organizers maintain the right to remove any participant from the race as needed. Injuries and medical emergencies are the utmost priority.

A cut-off time will be strictly implemented. Runners on the course after the cut-off time will be pulled out by the race marshals. Only those who finish the race within the cut-off time will receive a finisher’s medal and certificate.

The race will start exactly on time. Late runners for a maximum of 30 min will be allowed but must still finish within the required cut-off time.

Organizers can impose time penalties or disqualification on runners who do not follow race rules.

NO LITTERING. Any runners caught littering will automatically be disqualified (DQ).

NO CHEATING! Runners are NOT allowed to ride any vehicle or take a shortcut even if he is not aiming for a podium finish. All runners must start and end the race exactly as all runners do.

NO TAKING OFF ROUTE MARKERS. Runners must not take off route markers to be used as splint ties or to tie on their legs as a prevention for cramps and other injuries. Automatic disqualification (DQ) will be imposed on any runners caught.

All protests related to the results must be made in writing and submitted to the Race Director within 30 minutes after the official announcement of winners.

All runners are subject to a random mandatory gear check at any point in the route. Runners with incomplete mandatory gear will NOT be allowed to race or be pulled out of the course and will be declared as DQ.

The organizers reserve the right to make any changes at their discretion without prior notice. The organizers’ decision is final.
HYDRATION AND FIRST AID STATIONS
All runners are REQUIRED to bring their own hydration vest or bottle with a minimum of 1.5-liter capacity. Hydration will be provided in designated Aid Stations. Please refer to the route map for the exact locations. All runners must bring their own cups. Plastics or paper cups will not be available at the aid stations. There are rivers and natural spring waters sprouting along the route that runners can use to wash, bathe or freshen up but not recommended for drinking especially if you have a sensitive stomach. Rescue and first aid stations will be strategically placed along the route. ​
RACE BRIEFING AND KIT DISTRIBUTION will be on Saturday, March 19, 3:00 pm at ----. All runners are required to attend.
